Dorothy was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. where she initially learned that in order to be somebody you must keep your head down, get a college degree, and work hard to make it in the world. She began working at the age of 14, and from that age, she was determined to “Make It”. Well, years later she was married to her amazing husband Eric and traveled the world as a military wife supporting her husband. She became well decorated with a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a six-figure corporate job, however, she was not where she wanted to be in life. She had not found her calling… Dorothy has always had a thing for crafting, so one day she was thinking about making a special t-shirt for her granddaughter’s birthday, so she did. When she realized how great the t-shirts turned out, she immediately thought about turning this hobby into a real business. In January of 2017, Dorothy launched her very own t-shirt apparel business named WealthWear & Designs by Dee, where her motto is, “Become What You Wear”. The name WealthWear derived from being involved in an MLM business that she and her husband had started a year earlier. This MLM business taught her the importance of ‘Ownership’. This was the key to a mindset shift she needed in order to even think that she could own her very own business. And now she is here, “National Business Builders”, and she is so very proud to help others build their businesses…
